With a spoon like this, double the love of each sweet bite. Designed by Miriam Mirri in 2002, the 7-inch Big Love Spoon is crafted of 18/10 stainless steel and is safe to clean in the dishwasher. Meant to pair with the Big Love Bowl from the same line, the spoon sold on its own allows for rounding out a collection and garnering the always-needed extras.

Miriam Mirri

Italian designer, she was born in Bologna. She lives and works in Milan where since 2010 her office is based. She studied design and communication at the Università del Progetto. She collaborated with several design companies; she worked with Stefano Giovannoni until 1999. In 2000 she began her freelance designer activity; she designed houseware, pets accessories, day and night objects, watches, complements and furniture collaborating among others with Alessi. She took part in national and international exhibitions. She has held design-workshop at the Università del Progetto and at the Domus Academy in Milan and presented her works at some design master course.

Since its establishment in 1921, Alessi has gradually evolved, becoming a leading exponent of the “Factories of Italian design”, capable of mediating between the most interesting expressions of international creativity and the public, society and the market. Its mission is to translate these creative expressions into real objects capable of fulfilling dreams and satisfying the public’s desires.
