The Quilts of Gee's Bend 1000 Piece Puzzle features 40 colorful quilt patterns created by the women of Gee's Bend a small, remote, Black community in Wilcox County, Alabama. This world famous group has created hundreds of quilt masterpieces dating from the early twentieth century to the present.

Galison first published calendars and a few books before focusing primarily on fine art stationery, boxed notecards, greeting cards, personalized Christmas cards, journals, and other gift products for writers. They are a small hardworking team of 25 based in New York City. The McEvoy Group, a media company based in San Francisco, acquired Galison in March 2012.
