About Emmanuelle Fiegueras: Emmanuelle Figueras was born in French Guiana. While studying law in Paris, she discovered a passion for writing, popular science and the animal world. She went on to study gorillas in Rwanda, took a course in primatology and became a journalist and author. She writes about animals and science for numerous magazines and is the author of over 50 books for both adults and children. She lives in France.

About Kevin St. John: Kevin St. john was born in Colorado and lived there until, at the age of twenty, he moved to Paris to spend a semester at the Sorbonne. He received a BA at the University of Denver with a triple major in Creative Writing, French, and Theatre. Since living in New York City, Kevin has worked as a barback, a bread salesman, a barista, and a writer for the Huffington Post. He is currently an MFA candidate in fiction writing at Columbia, and teaches French in Brooklyn.

About Sarah Tavernier: Sarah Tavernier is a visual artist who studied in the European School of Arts & Materials. Tavernier applies her colorists research in the fields of architecture, mural, illustration and design. Being a paper engineer for three years, Tavernier has created and developed pop-up books for children and young readers.

About Alexandre Verhille: Alexandre Verhille has travelled the world having been influenced by the world of Kerouac, London and Hugo Pratt, and was inspired and experienced many genres, reading to a desire to work in art and the written word. He regularly collaborates with international papers and magazines, making illustrating maps. When he’s not making maps, Alexandre plans trips around the world and illustrating children's book or travel books.
