A modern kitchen classic from Alessi, this kitchen timer was designed in 1992 by Michael Graves. This wind-up timer has a mechanical movement and can be used for timing your cooking from one minute to one hour, with easy-to read numbers and index marks. To set the bell sound, wind the timer and then turn the dial back to your desired time. It’s made from light blue thermoplastic that’s accented with a red ball on top.
Graves's personal formal language combines ideas taken from European tradition, Art Deco, American Pop Art and memories of pre-Colombian cultures. The American designer also has an ability to bewitch the general public like few other designers in the Alessi catalog.
