The "Color Dots" Limited Edition roller ball pen was designed by fashion designer Gene Meyer. The design is based on Mr. Meyer's keen sense of fashion and uses his well known colors and circles in combination. "GENE MEYER FOR ACME" is laser engraved on the clip. The cap has the unique feature of using 2 holes in the cap that follow the colored dots pattern. The edition number is placed on the top of the cap. Only 500 pens of this design were made. The ACME Studios was founded by Adrian Olabuenaga and his wife Lesley Bailey in 1985. The company has collaborated with well know artists, musicians and architects producing lines of pens, and art.
